The first step is determining which immigration program you may be eligible for based on your qualifications, work experience, language proficiency, and other factors. You can start by visiting the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website and taking an online assessment to determine your eligibility. You can also seek the guidance of a trusted immigration consultant to help you navigate the process.

To determine if you are eligible for Canadian immigration, you must assess whether you meet the requirements of the specific immigration program of your interest. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the program, but generally, you need to have a certain level of education, work experience, and language proficiency and meet health and security requirements. You can visit the IRCC website and take the eligibility assessment or consult with an experienced immigration consultant who can guide you through the process.

Express Entry is an online system the Canadian government uses to manage the applications of skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada. This system helps to process applications faster and more efficiently. To be eligible for Express Entry, you must meet the requirements of one of the federal economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, or Canadian Experience Class.

The amount of money you need to immigrate to Canada depends on several factors, including the immigration program you are applying under and the size of your family. Some immigration programs, such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, require applicants to show proof of funds to support themselves and their families upon arrival in Canada. The minimum amount required varies depending on the size of their families. You can find out more about the specific requirements of each immigration program on the IRCC website.

The processing time for a Canada Immigration application varies depending on several factors, including the immigration program you are applying for, the completeness of your application, and the volume of applications getting processed. Generally, the processing time can range from a few months to several years. You can check the current processing times for each immigration program on the IRCC website. It’s important to note that processing times are subject to change and can be affected by many factors, including the current COVID-19 pandemic.

In general, foreign nationals need a study permit to pursue studies in Canada. There are some exceptions; for example if your course is six months or less you don’t need a study permit. However, we recommend you to get one in case you decide to continue your studies.

If you are from a country that requires a visa to enter Canada, you will need to apply for a TRV as well.

Yes, as long as you have a valid travel document/passport, a valid study permit and a valid temporary resident visa (if applicable) in order to re-enter Canada.

No. You are expected and it is mandatory for you to enrol in a medical insurance service during the entire duration of your studies. Your school would have advised of this in your acceptance letter.

If you are a post-secondary student you may change school/academic program without applying for a new study permit as long as your current one still valid.

If your academic program was full-time and at least 8 months in duration, you can apply for a Post-Graduate Work Permit and stay in Canada up to three years after your graduation.
